This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

…That was HIS paradigm. - his prison.

Probably passed to him by the person he was trained by. Fortunately I learned at an early age never to believe ANYONE who wishes to put limits on what YOU can do.

This is exactly what Steve Jobs meant when he said “Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.”

So if you’re currently hanging around with ANYONE who keeps saying to you, you’ll never do this…or you’ll never be able to do that - - I advise you distance yourself from these people.

They may not intentionally mean you harm.
But they will harm you just the same.

P.S. Two days after this conversation with my copywriter friend, I was speaking with the executive VP of Boardroom, who was interested in my work. Impossible? Fuck off!

Currently I am trying to run my blog from a richardpetersen.co.uk subdomain. It works for some and not for others. When I check tumblr they say its pointing to the wrong ip address.

Anyway while leaving it for far to long I suddenly realised in the cpanel I had already setup a blog.richardpetersen.co.uk pointing to some test site.

Now I have deleted that sub domain and requested that blog.richardpetersen.co.uk now points to the tumblr ip address.

So fingers crossed.

The only problem is I have to wait for up to 3 days to see if it works or not, but I am quietly confident :-)

A product that more people need than can currently be produced. Something that isnt easily copiable. Thats why SEO is such a rockstar industry right now. I mean sure there are agencies springing up all over the place selling cheap low level seo. But the real stuff. The stuff that works over and over and makes big companies big money… only a few hundred people in the world really understand it and are agile enough to keep up with google. There are more companies that need that than people who can deliver and thats why we can charge lawyer prices and not run out of customers. Eat it up it wont last forever. SEO will always exist but this huge disparity between supply and demand will not.”
